Innerdimensions of Torah
About the Course
The Gate of Unity and Faith is essentially a work on the Torah's Innerdimensions. The author, Rabbi Schneor Zalman of Liadi, is primarily concerned with the forces of good and evil in human nature and in the surrounding world, and his objective, as already pointed out, is to give us access to a higher understanding of the greatness of the Creator and how to serve him with enthusiasm. The human mind is not equally receptive, nor equally responsive to, the same stimuli.
Ultimately, the polarity of things is but external; the underlying reality of everything is unity, reflecting the unity of the Creator. To bring out this unity of the microcosm and macrocosm, as they merge within the mystic unity of the En Sof (the Infinite) that is the ultimate aim of the Gate of Unity and Faith.

Lesson 4 : Divine Creatitivity
From the foregoing [exposition] the answer to the heretics [is deduced], and the root of the error of those who deny individual Divine Providence and the signs and miracles recorded in the Torah is revealed.
Lesson 5 : Continuous act of Creation
The reason that all things created and activated appear to us as existing and tangible, is that we do not comprehend nor see with our physical eyes the power of G‑d and the "Breath of His mouth" which is in the created thing.
